I constantly want to find new ways to create and like to experiment with new materials. From my calligraphy, I am a trained calligrapher from the Roehampton Institute in London, and my letters, where I once began my artistic career, there has come a longing to try new ways of expression and increasingly it has become in abstract painting. Of course I return to writing and often the painting is combined with letters in some form. Sometimes legible, sometimes more like a pattern. Sometimes neat and sparingly, sometimes raw and powerful.

I have just moved my studio home, after many years in a studio in Leksand, to the village of Hjortnäs halfway to Tällberg. To the schoolroom in our home which is an old school from 1901. A change and new start that feels exciting and fun.
